I'm free, I'm free!!

I am so excited for this day to be over. About a week ago (before finals) I thought that summer vacation had practically started because classes were over. I mistakenly believed finals would be a breeze. HOW wrong can a girl be?!? I have spent the last 72 hours in sheer panic- yes, tears were shed- trying to get everything done I needed to finish before tonight at 9:00pm. I am so lucky I have an understanding husband, he really brought me through. Anyway, I am happy to announce that finals are now over and I can breathe again. Now my most important question is what I should do with my new found freedom. After this blog I am planning on going to bed for a very long time, but my life is pretty boring after that. So I am open for suggestions. Anyone have any fun summer plans they could pass on to me?

Lost and Found

I am counting down the minute to 3:30pm right now. I have to go to work and I am dreading it. I have had a wonderful day being lazy and having fun playing games with Jeremy and I do not feel like ending it right now. Oh well, all good things must come to an end. Sigh.

I thought that while I am waiting I would post blog for fun. Yesterday a wonderful thing happened. We found our marriage license. We have been looking for our license for a week now and have practically turned our house upside down in the process. We need our marriage license to get a drivers license in my married name (yup, I still don't have a marriage license in my married name even though we have been hitched over a year). Finding it was like a miracle. We had said a short prayer and then Jeremy said he thought we should look in my dresser (even though I had already looked 3 times). I didn't know of anywhere else where we hadn't looked so I started looking through my dresser again, but this time I took all the drawers out and found it behind the middle drawer. I am still ecstatic! We went to the DMV yesterday and got my drivers license and so I finally have a drivers license with my new last name on it.

It's about time...

So we have had this blog for about 3 weeks now and have done absolutely nothing with it. I decided that I couldn't go another day without writing something, anything to fill up the empty space.
A little bit about us right now:
We are trying to get through the last couple of days of classes. This is the time of year when we have to deal with all the procrastination we have been doing the rest of the semester. It's amazing though, even when deadlines are just around the corner I am still managing to put things off. I have come to realize that procrastination is a real talent.
We are both super excited for summer to be here. It has still been really cold in Utah and I think our winter coats are ready for a break. The forecast boasts of a high in the 50's today so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Along with warm weather we are looking forward to going up to Ogden a lot this summer to visit my brother, Thane, and his wife, Melanie.
